"Why should I choose Sarah Vincent Photography?"

From the minute you arrive at the studio my aim will be to ensure your portraits are of the very best quality and that your family images will be created in the best and most entertaining way.

"How much will it cost?"

A sitting will cost £40.00
Once you have chosen the portraits you want it is then up to you what you want, how many you want and the size of the image you want. All my portraits will come in tasteful frames in a finish of your choice and the price for a 7 x 5 Portrait starts at £45.00.

"What is the next step I need to take once I have decided a Sarah Vincent portrait is what I want?"

You will nedd to make an appointment for a sitting, this can be done online by visiting the contact page or telephoning me on 01759 373806.
It is best to make an appointment two weeks before your requested time, maybe a little earlier at certain times of the year like Christmas, but no more than a month in advance.
Before you arrive at the studio for your sitting you should take some time to think about the type of portrait you require. Is it to capture a special moment, a milestone in life, a family reunion or do you just want to capture a timeless family treasure.
The reason will help us create the mood for the final image, the clothes you need to wear and the number of portraits you want to buy. If you are not sure about something before you arrive, I am only a phone call away and happy to answer any queries you have.

"What will happen during the sitting?"

Before we start you will let me know what you want and what sort of final image you want me to create.
During the sitting I will spend around an hour taking lots of different shots and poses to allow you to have maximum choice when you come to choose the portraits that you want.
I can take pictures of children, adults, groups or individuals and sometimes you just will not know that I am taking pictures of you, these shots can prove to be the most fun.

"Do I need to bring any props with me?"

No you do not need to bring anything apart from the people who will be photographed.
I do not use props in my photgraphy for a number of reasons, the main one is that props date and cheapen the look of the final image.
As a mother of three lively children, I understand the need to keep them entertained throughout the sitting and am very used to doing this without the aid of unnecessary props.

"When will I get to choose the final images that I want to become my timeless family treasures?"

Approximately two weeks after the sitting I will invite you back to the studio to see what fabulous images I have created for you and from these you can choose your final portraits.
This process can take some time so do not plan to rush in and out. You are making a decision on an investment that will last generations, so it needs careful thought.
Once you have decided on the images and the frame finish you want I will then create the final portraits for you and send them to my professional frame maker, this will take a further two weeks.
You will then be the proud owner of your by Sarah Vincent portraits, timeless family treasures.
